One of our newest products is a very handy Drawing Salve, used to help draw out 𝒔𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔, 𝒃𝒐𝒊𝒍𝒔, 𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔.  Made with all natural and organic ingredients, this is a much better alternative than any of the chemical-filled go-to’s at
the local drug store.  Some of the beneficial ingredients to this salve are:

𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒐𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒚, known for their drawing abilities, make up the bulk of this salve.  Activated charcoal is able to bind to poison, toxins or dirt that contribute to skin issues or bite reactions, while bentonite clay binds and removes bacteria and toxins.

𝑪𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝒐𝒊𝒍 has moisturizing properties and promotes wound healing due to its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects.

𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏 has a wide-range of antimicrobial properties besides being anti-inflammatory and analgesic. It can not only soothe insect bites and superficial wounds but prevent infections and accelerate healing.

Last week, my son was stung twice by a wasp on his arm.  It immediately started swelling in the immediate area, but also started getting red and warm in a larger softball sized area.  Since wasps don’t leave a stinger (this is why they can sting you multiple times), we were just working with the venom.  I ran to the apothecary, grabbed this Drawing Salve and glopped a pea sized amount on each sting area.  Within a few minutes, the sting was gone and my son said it just throbbed a little bit still.  Within ten minutes, he wanted to get back up and get back to work because there was no pain left and that softball sized red and warm area was back to normal.  I left the salve on the sting areas, covered those spots with bandaids, and when he came in hours later, everything was back to normal!  Let me just say, bees and other insects will leave a stinger, so it’s important to remove those before treatment.

Because such a small amount is needed for relief, this jar will last a long time.  It’s definitely worth it to have in your own personal home apothecary before you need it.
