As a salve, plantain is great for skin issues such as:
eczema
blisters
ringworm
shingles
burns
acne
helping to pull out splinters
poison ivy rashes
contact dermatitis
cuts
scrapes
scabs
 
Plantain has a WIDE range of uses!  It has antimicrobial properties, it is anti-inflammatory, and analgesic. It can not only soothe insect bites and superficial wounds but prevent infections and accelerate healing. 
 
Plantain in general loves helping with skin infections, intestinal and digestion tract problems, kidneys as a diuretic and bladder for infections, venomous bites and stings (which is why we included it in the Drawing Salve!), lung issues like coughs, bronchitis, pneumonia, and asthma, and teeth and gums and oral health such as targeting infection, thrush, mouth ulcers, and inflamed gums.
